WebbConnect Product Search Help
F.W. Webb provides several ways for our customers to search for specific products or product lines when using WebbConnect. We have
included an overview here of the various ways you are able to narrow your search results and try to zero in on the particular items you require.
Simple Searches
For a basic search of our system you can enter a manufacturer's name, their part number, or keywords that you feel may be associated with the product you are
looking for. When using keywords you will receive more accurate results using singular rather than plural words. (e.g. fan rather than fans)
If you have your own part numbers cross-referenced within our system you may search by these numbers as well.
The most efficient search can be done if you know the F.W. Webb Control Number for the product you need. Entering the Control Number in the search field will return the specific item
associated with that Control Number.
To speed your search for several different items, WebbConnect allows you to enter multiple search criteria for different products within a single search box. When using this "multiple search" option, you will
need to separate each distinct search criteria with a comma:
In this example, we have entered an actual Webb part number (DEL400), a description for a Bradford-White water heater (B/W WATER HEATER) and a Webb Control Number (4239). The search results page(s) will list
all variations of the Delta Model 400 faucet, all Bradford-White water heaters and the single specific product associated with the #4239 Control Number.
Advanced Searches
In addition to the "simple search" outlined above, we have also set up a couple of special searches that you
can use to find products specific to a manufacturer or to your particular company.
"LINE" or "L-" Searches
By knowing the F.W. Webb alpha codes you are able to limit your searching to specific manufacturers by using the "LINE" or "L-" search prefix:
For example, to view all Delta Faucet products you would type LINE-DEL or L-DEL into the search box. This will return a list of all Delta products stocked by F.W. Webb.
As with all searches, these special search terms can be combined with keywords to further narrow your
search. Entering "LINE-DEL kitchen" into the search box will return all kitchen products within the Delta line.
LAST Searches
The other search you can perform returns results specific to your company. By utilizing the "LAST" command you can view products purchased by your company for a specified period of time:
Entering "LAST30"into the search box will return all products purchased by your company in the last 30 days, entering "LAST60" will return 60 days worth of products, etc. Again, you can combine this search with
keywords to further narrow the results. By entering "LAST30 faucet" you will see all of the faucets purchased over the last 30 days, while "LAST30 DEL" will show all Delta products purchased for that period.
