F.W. Webb Company Now in Waterbury, CT
The F.W. Webb Company, headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, is pleased to announce the opening of their newest branch in Waterbury, Connecticut. The "new" branch is actually
the former Colonial Supply Company. F.W. Webb purchased the company from Mike Garrity on Friday, April 25th and reopened as F.W. Webb on Monday, April 28th.
The new branch features a state-of-the-art 4,000 square foot plumbing showroom, trades counter, an extensive inventory and easy access to Routes 72, 8 & 84. The primary focus on
residential plumbing and heating will remain the same. However, all of the various disciplines offered by F.W. Webb will be available and the store will be stocked daily from the company's Hartford
branch. All Colonial employees, including Mike Garrity, remained on board. According to Webb's Connecticut manager, John Blades, "If it were not for Mike Sewell, the Hartford operations manager and John
Bradshaw, the warehouse manager as well as a group of dedicated employees, there is no way we could have made the transition as seamless as it was." (Four truckloads of product were delivered and stocked into
the new branch over the weekend before they opened.)
