F.W. Webb Hosts 2023 Industrial Summit and Trade Show

F.W. Webb's Springfield branch recently completed a massive 41,291-square-foot warehouse expansion and 20,650-square-foot pipe barn addition, making it an ideal venue to host the company's 2023 Industrial Summit & Trade Show. In the past, F.W. Webb held the summit off-site. But this year, over 45 industry-leading manufacturers, accompanied by product displays and literature, filled the pipe barn addition back in September.

"The pace of business coupled with ongoing labor shortages has resulted in a challenging environment for our customers," said F.W. Webb's Director of Industrial Sales Mike Leander. "It is challenging to keep up with emerging technologies when your team constantly runs downhill. We strive to provide our customers with solutions instead of just selling them "stuff."

Attendees crowded around F.W. Webb's HDPE Fusion Specialist, Jamie Phillips, as he fused two 20-inch DR11 IPS HDPE pipes using the company's McElroy TracStar T900 machine. F.W. Webb, a certified distributor since 2021, sells, rents and services McElroy fusion equipment. The company's Springfield branch serves as F.W. Webb’s hub for McElroy equipment.

The fusion demonstration wasn’t the only live display, though, as the summit also offered plenty of hands-on training, including:
