F.W. Webb Company Acquires Rising Sun Plumbing Supply and Steinberg Plumbing Supply

F.W. Webb is pleased to announce the acquisition of Rising Sun Plumbing Supply in Philadelphia, PA, and Steinberg Plumbing Supply, in Elkins Park, PA.

Rising Sun, established in 1989, and Steinberg, founded in 1953, have served Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery counties for decades. The facilities are one-stop shops for plumbing, heating and industrial supplies for residential, commercial and industrial projects.

"Greater Philadelphia is one of the largest markets in the Northeast," said Chief Operating Officer Bob Mucciarone. "We are excited to offer our wide array of products and exemplary service to our expanded customer base."

Both locations will operate under the F.W. Webb umbrella effective Monday, June 5. Rising Sun and Steinberg employees are joining the F.W. Webb team, including former owner Ed Preston, who will serve as store manager at the Philadelphia location.

Webb's newest locations will offer customers both delivery and will-call options to help simplify and expedite purchases.

This acquisition establishes the company's third and fourth wholesale locations in the state of Pennsylvania, joining existing locations Allentown and Aston.
