Bedford, MA—F.W. Webb Company has officially started operations at its new, state-of-the-art 35,000-square-foot facility in Canastota, NY, relocating a Process Controls team previously based in Cazenovia, NY. Outfitted with brand-new equipment, expanded shop space, and a larger on-site inventory, the location is designed to support industrial facility operators seeking comprehensive valve-related services.
"We initiated this relocation based on input from our valued customers, and we are proud to serve them from a modern site built to address their needs today and well into the future," said Nick Pelletier, General Manager of F.W. Webb's Process Controls Division. "With expanded production capacity and enhanced capabilities, this building streamlines our operations and equips us to offer the highest quality products for years to come."
The Canastota location complements F.W. Webb's Process Controls site in Winslow, ME, delivering the critical systems and components industrial enterprises need for safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation. Led by Manager Anisa Meigs, the experienced Canastota team brings deep technical expertise to the upgraded building.
"With a larger space and more modern equipment, we'll immediately boost our efficiency," said Meigs. "We also look forward to integrating even more advanced technology in the future. Most importantly, our customers will experience a seamless transition and receive long-term benefits from this move."
The Canastota team offers a full range of specialized valve services, including:
Manufacturing: Valves are custom fabricated and assembled on site to meet customers’ proprietary needs and technical specifications.
Robust On-Site Inventory: The location stocks a wide selection of safety, relief, and automated valves ready for worldwide shipment.
Service and Repair: The team is nationally certified for valve repair and offers 24/7 emergency service for critical industrial components.
The Canastota location continues the tradition of superior customer service delivered by F.W. Webb. It also builds on the legacy established by Stan Neu, who founded the Cazenovia location prior to its acquisition by F.W. Webb in 2010. Neu remains an integral member of the F.W. Webb team.
The relocation is part of a broader facilities upgrade initiative across F.W. Webb’s business footprint, with a goal of consistently improving the customer experience. Since the beginning of 2024, the company has moved into state-of-the-art sites in Boston, MA; Presque Isle, ME; Swanzey, NH; and Rochester, NY.
Like those locations, the new Canastota facility is positioned to generate new economic activity in the region. Located just minutes from the New York State Thruway at 30 Madison Boulevard, the site offers convenient access to the area’s skilled workforce, with ample room for future staff expansion.
