Buderus designed the packaged four-section G115-4 cast iron boiler to have higher outputs at less cost per BTU. This boiler is ideal for new installations or as a replacement since it is compatible with most hot water tanks. It has two ETL-approved venting options - into a chimney or directly through a wall - and has an 87 percent AFUE rating. The boiler's three-pass design minimizes stack losses thanks to the large heat transfer areas while the 3" thick insulation helps maintain a higher water temperature. The Buderus G115-4 model measures 23-1/2" long (front to back) by 28-5/8" wide by 34-1/2" high and does not include a burner.
