Developed with an eye towards business owners, ecobee designed the EMS Si thermostat for compatibility with conventional heating (gas, oil, and electric), heat pumps, dual fuel systems, and two-stage electric cooling. It has two dry contact inputs and/or temperature sensor inputs for remote-wired sensors. The full-color LCD thermostat displays temperatures in Fahrenheit or Celsius, automatically adjusts for daylight saving time, and has 365-day scheduling.
