This replacement MTC thermostatic cartridge is designed to fit most hansgrohe iBox and ThermoBalance trims and AXOR Ecostat trims. Also fits two-hole and three-hole thermostatic tub fillers.
PLEASE NOTE: This cartridge has been changed several times since it was introduced in the late 1990's. The earliest version was completely made of brass. Over the years, the brass has been replaced with black reinforced plastic. The most recent version is slightly shorter than older versions. The new cartridge is the correct part and will work properly with the valve even if it does not look the same.
