Reaching 160 years in business has taken the countless contributions of our employees—at the counter, in the warehouse, in the office, or at the jobsite. But among all those contributions, the relationships we build with trade professionals like you matter most, because those relationships can truly make a difference for your business.
When it comes to building those relationships, there's no one better than Norm Fine, an outside sales representative in Massachusetts.
"There's not really much else to say about Norm," said F.W. Webb's owner and president, Jeff Pope, introducing him as the recipient of the John D. Pope Award at our annual Sales Meeting. Year after year, Norm shows up, follows through, and delivers. The award recognizes our top salesperson and, most importantly, the work behind that achievement. Along with the other honors presented during the meeting, the award reflects everything Norm and our team do to ensure you have what you need, when and where you need it.
"We have a special relationship with Norman Fine and his ability and his interest to help us succeed," said Kevin Walsh of E.M. Duggan, a longtime F.W. Webb customer, during an interview to help mark our 160th anniversary. . It's the kind of relationship developed over years of persistence, grounded in our standard that every customer counts.
Our annual Sales Meeting brings our team together to celebrate contributors like Norm and sharpen our focus for the year ahead. We discuss industry trends, including the refrigerant transition affecting HVAC/R equipment, and solutions we've created to help you grow your business, such as our dealer programs. The goal is simple: when you come to us with a question or a challenge, our team is ready.
We'll be ready because we're determined to provide the very best experience for you. To reach that level of excellence, keynote speaker and Hockey Hall of Famer Ray Bourque encouraged us to embrace mentorship. He recounted his early years learning from Bruins greats and his final seasons serving as a role model for younger players.
It's role models like Norm Fine who make the difference for so many every day, for the customers he connects with, and for the standard he sets for us. Through persistence, hard work, and dedicated service, Norm demonstrates what's possible when relationships matter most.
Congratulations to all on our team who were recognized. As we look ahead to the rest of 2026, we're focused on one thing: being the difference for your business.
